Fun, Quick and Dirty III

Fast quick and Dirty is a 1 Day,  tournament run by Team Octopi in Stockport. As the name implies it revolves around quick, brutal games and to this end its got an unusual format of 3x20pts lists. This seemed like a great little format to me and it was relatively cheap to enter and travel to so I rounded up a few of the local lads and got tickets !

UK Masters Final – Directors Cut [Video]

So recently passed was the UK masters event, the finals of which saw Jamie Perkins (Khador) Take on Andrew Galea (Trollbloods). Needless to say the game was very interesting and captured in its entirety by the good chaps over at SteamForged which then had a commentary added to it by the players themselves.

Well what a weekend. All I can say is that I have never played Warmachine, or any other wargame for that matter, like that before. Absolutely fantastic weekend and I was just too tired to do anything when I got back Sunday. Needless to say this has left me with a lot to talk about to in the next coming days I’ll post up a few articles about the con itself, the games and lots of photos!

I would like to apologise for the lack of live coverage whilst I was there as the only bad thing about my weekend was that I had such an issue trying to get a good internet signal, just tweeting was a chore! Anyways I’ll make up for it over the next few days so stay tuned!

SmogCon!

So due to work picking up and having some more spare cash around I managed to snag one of the few remaining tickets for SmogCon.

What is SmogCon? It’s the first “american” style warmachine convention in the UK! So normally it should be 3 days of warmachine fun! Very nerdy but you gotta love it 😉
